CAPA member benefit alliance (MBA) program

As a way of providing a benefit to our members the Calgary and Area Physicians Association (CAPA) executive has launched an initiative that we refer to as the CAPA member benefits alliance program (CAPA MBA program). In a nutshell, we are building alliances with businesses that are willing to offer our members preferred pricing as a way of becoming a preferred vendor for CAPA members.

It is important that, in the case of automobile dealers, you approach ONLY the indicated sales person and identify yourself as a CAPA member with your membership card in order to obtain these automobile prices.

Calgary Hyundai

Calgary Hyundai, at 1920-23^rd St. NE , is offering CAPA members corporate fleet pricing of 4.5 per cent over dealer invoice on any new Hyundai vehicle and $500 off the sale price of pre-owned vehicles. Calgary Hyundai is also offering 15 per cent off all parts and services, including menu priced items and detailing services and appearance packages such as Scotch guard and rust proofing.

This dealership is also willing to offer these same prices to the employees of CAPA members with a written letter from the CAPA member. This is another opportunity for you to give a valuable benefit to your employees at no cost to you.

CAPA members are now eligible for a 10 per cent discount on most wines and spirits purchased at Willow Park Wines. This gives our members the equivalent of employee pricing. When going through the checkout show your membership card and advise the person ringing you through that you are entitled to CAPA member pricing. That person will enter CAPA into the system and the price reductions will automatically be applied to your eligible purchases. The vast majority of spirits in these stores are eligible for this price reduction but you must realize that some items are NOT discounted. As a rule these are rarer items such as Dom Perignon, Beaujolais Futures, Duckhorn wines and some rare scotches being some examples. If you have any question as to whether an item is eligible or not, have one of the staff scan it.
